The newly refurbished bar offers a warm welcome to all and a wide variety of wines and beers, along with light snacks all at great value. The Conservatory Bistro (2 AA Red Rosetts) offers lunch and dinner menus reflecting the best of currently available produce and are changed regularly to ensure all tastes are catered for.
The proximity to local attractions makes The Beamish Park Hotel ideal for short breaks or longer stays in the area. The Causey Arch (The oldest railway bridge in the world) and Tanfield Railway are within striking distance of the hotel, and The Beamish Museum, Newcastle Upon Tyne, The Metro Centre and the historical city of Durham are all within a short drive of the hotel.

From: AI SOUTH - FROM CHESTER-LE-STREET.
Exit the A1 at Chester le Street Junction 63, and take the A693 to Stanley. At roundabout exit for A6076 to Gateshead. The hotel is 2 miles on the right hand side, behind the Causey Arch Public House.
DIRECTIONS FROM AI NORTH & A69 (SCOTLAND)
If coming from Scotland join the A1 South when sign-posted. Following the A1, cross over the River Tyne. Take slip road sign-posted A692 Consett, continue on this road for 2 miles until you come into Sunniside. Take A6076 to Stanley (left at main traffic lights), continue 3 miles, the hotel is situated on the left-hand side, behind the Causey Arch public House.
